1830's Vintage Red & White Turkey Tracks Antique Quilt VERY EARLY FABRIC

  

This wonderful, very early cotton 1830's turkey tracks quilt is all hand. Pieced and hand quilted, with a very early turkey red and chrome yellow print.

And is good condition, with some popping/deterioration in the red print in places, and light age staining. The hand quilting is superb, with close straight line and grid designs quilted throughout at an even 12 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same early red used in the interior, and the batting is thin. The VERY EARLY FABRICS and DENSE HAND QUILTING make this early 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
