This beautiful silk and cotton 1880's crazy tied quilt is all hand pieced with elaborate had embroidered embellishments. This was from an estate with. Several quilts which had been stored away for a long time, some of those quilts were dated in the 1800s as well as other clues allowing safe assumption all the materials were from the same era.

This came from a San Francisco Bay Area estate. " X 68" and has some damages on some of the silks, see images. The back consists of a pink cotton and has minimal batting. Thanks so much for stopping by!
