Antique Variable Stars Antique Quilt c. This BEAUTIFUL cotton 1830's (could be earlier) variable stars quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with 18 cutouts at one end, originally intended for a poster bed.

It measures 92" X 94" and is in good/fair condition, with age discoloration most visible on the back and wear at the edge (it looks the binding may have been removed). There is straight line quilting throughout at 6-7 stitches to the inch. The back is age white, and the batting is thin.
