Glorious Antique Green & White Pine Tree QUILT 81x66 Humility Block. This is a beautiful green and white pine tree quilt. One of the trees is different than the others, a Humility block? Small 1 1/2" x 1" pieces. Nicely hand quilted at 5-6 stitches per inch.

In good condition with a couple light age spots. A beautiful quilt with a striking pattern and wonderful color. Perfect at Christmas, but displays beautifully all year long! What is a "Humility Block"?

Folklore has it that women would place one block in their quilts differently, as only God is perfect. Some say this is a way of signing their quilt, others say it is just a mistake in their piecing.
