SPECTACULAR c 1840-50s Star of Bethlehem QUILT Antique Chintz Museum Collection. A spectacular pattern and different satellites than you normally see with this pattern. Beautiful fabrics with lush glazed chintz, brilliant blue, mustard yellow, browns, overdye greens and turkey red.

This quilt was a treasured one in a private collection from Pennsylvania. I can see why they loved it so much. You will surely marvel over all the lush fabrics.

Measures a generous 100 x 100 inches. Crisp, never used or washed. Hand quilted at 8 stitches per inch.

Edges are turned and hand sewn. Some age/other spotting tanning, light surface, wear bites, tiny seam miss on turned edge. Add this early beauty to your seasoned collection. Originated in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
