Vintage 1890 Wool Crazy Quilt Dresden Plate Design. 72x87 Made in Enid, Oklahoma
Beautiful vintage Crazy Quilt circa 1890s featuring Dresden "plate" designs. This quilt was made by the Ingram family in Enid, Oklahoma. The Ingrams were pioneers in "opening" the Cherokee Indian territory. For homesteaders, this quilt pattern was common in prints and pastels form the 30's and 40's. The quilt is comprised of wool, velvet, linen, cotton and silk blends. Some wear commensurate with age.
