This is an unused, mint condition vintage quilt from the mid-1970s. It is hand-pieced and handmade. No wear & tear, odors, or stains. Lots of fun patterns, evocative of the 1970s, are used in this quilt. Style/pattern: This is called a bubble, puff, or biscuit quilt.
Dimensions: 58" wide X 82" long, or 27 puffs long X 18 puffs wide. Each puff is 3" to 3.25" square.
Colors: Multiple colors and patterns. Fabric: Mix of natural (mostly cotton) and synthetic fabrics. Backing: Solid sheet of white cotton. Age: Around 45 years old.Provenance : This quilt was made in the mid-1970s. It was a prize in a raffle held by a senior center in a mid-sized city in Georgia (Albany). Condition: The quilt was brand-new when it was raffled.
It was never used by the person who won it (or by anyone else)! It is freshly laundered (this might be the only time it has ever been washed).
