Vintage 40's Floral Applique Antique Quilt w/ Heart, Bird & Flower Pot Motifs! This BEAUTIFUL cotton 40's floral quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents, swag border, and wonderful bird, heart and flower pot motifs.

It measures a generous 82" X 96" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. There is quilting around and within the applique and in feathered, grid, heart, and floral designs in the background, all at 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back is yellow, the front and back are hand stitched together right at the edge ("knife edge"), and the batting is thin. The GREAT COLORS, DENSE APPLIQUE, and LUSH HAND QUILTING make this vintage beauty stand out!
