Vintage Album Applique Tree of Life Quilt Red Green Hand Appliquéd Hand Quilted. Exact age and origin of quilt are unknown. Please note multiple places that have come unsewn/unstitched. Also note several small holes and worn spots in backing fabric. Also note cotton batting has clumped and gathered creating lumps, which can be seen through white fabric as shown.

Appliqué work seems to be done by hand, as well as quilting. Please note squares have somewhat minimal/perimeter quilting.

Trees have appliqué stitching but have not been quilted/stitched to backing. Pieces/panels seem to have possibly been sewn on a machine.

Please note fading to backing fabric. Fabric on back appears to be from late 1960s-late 1970s, but this is only an estimate. Quilt top may be older than backing fabric, but age is unknown. Fabric is worn a bit thin, but overall in good condition for age with some discolorations/small stains.
