Vintage Large Handmade Attic Windows Quilt From The Collection Of Louise Howey
I had the fortune of meeting Dr. Richard Howey and have been helping him find homes for his many collected treasures. Howey's mother was well known in the quilting world and even in museums. She has long passed and her collection of quilts were kept safe for years and years. This is the only chance to own one of her vintage handmade quilts. Letter of authenticity available upon request. This is a terrific large approx 88in x 100in Attic Windows Pattern quilt. Soft and lightly used if that. I believe these quilts were all stored an extended period of time. Beautiful multi color pattern with white. We believe this piece was both hand stitched and machine sewn.
We believe this quilt dates from the 1960's to 1970. A beautiful keepsake piece ready for use. These are full size quilts so they will be heavy packages so lower 48 only please unless you use Global or make special arrangements.
