Vintage Quilt Dresden Plate Machine Pieced Hand Quilted dated 1941 81 x 69

  
The plates are made from 1930's fabrics. They are machine pieced and hand appliqués to the background fabric. The white background I believe started life as a sheet.

The batting is very very thin but not bunched. I think its a flannel sheet. The quilting is hand quilted. 2 sides are overlocked-the other 2 sides have slight fraying on the edge. There are small spots and what I think is blood on the back.
