VTG Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt w/ Hexagon Border 84980. This listing is for a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt.

Judging by the fabrics used, I would estimate the quilt to be from the 1930's. The quilt measures approximately 84" X 97". The individual hexagons are approximately 1 5/8 measured from one flat side to the opposite flat side. The quilt is previously owned. I have seen no holes or worn spots. There are a few small, light spots that I have not tried to clean.

The outer row of print fabric on two "flowers" are faded. The fabric appears to be cotton. The quilting were done by hand. Quilting stitches average 14 stitches per inch, counting both the top and bottom stitches. The edges follow the natural contour of the hexagons and the border is green, lavender, and yellow.

The center hexagon in all the "flowers" is yellow. This pretty quilt would make an excellent addition to your collection. If you wish to have the package sent to a different address, please contact me BEFORE paying and I will try to assist you. Books and breakables do not.
